black jack is a game that somehow reminds me of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you build up your bank roll, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom drops.
Blackjack is so remarkably like a rollercoaster the similarities are striking. As with the popular amusement park ride, your black jack game will peak and things will appear to be going well for awhile before it bottoms out once again. You must be a bettor that is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is full of them.
If you like the tiny coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the ride is with a fatter bet, then hop on board for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster wild ride because they are not thinking on the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not always remember how much you enjoyed everything while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a cool ride and your head in the clouds. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that mortifying fall as clear as day.
