I have played millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
