Whether you’re new to casino betting or a betting house veteran, chemin de fer is 1 of the easiest and most fun card games betting houses have to share. The objective in twenty-one is to defeat the dealer by acquiring a hand as close to 21 as as you can without going over. To play vingt-et-un, you need only a basic understanding of the game rules and a ambition to experience fun.

So how do you reach 21? In twenty-one, the cards have values. Numbered cards two up to ten are valued at face value, while every face cards (King, Queen and Jack) are valued at ten points. The ace card is a special card in black jack: you deduce whether it is worth 1 or eleven points. Since casino gamblers are given two cards to start, if you are dealt an ace and a face card or ten, you’ve achieved 21-an immediate win, as long as the dealer does not get twenty one at the same time. This twocard winning hand is called a "black jack"; hence the name of the game!

Casino rules for black jack are basically the same at all casinos. After you are dealt your initial two cards, your options are to hit, hold, double your wager and take one card, split your hand into 2 hands with a second wager equal to the first, or sometimes bow out.

When you gamble on black jack at a casino, make sure to know which table to choose. Most casinos have color coded blackjack tables depending on the min bet the table accepts, normally $3, $5, twenty-five dollars or one hundred dollars. In any betting house, it’s a given the $3 and 5 dollar tables will be crowded, but they’re fantastic for newbies at blackjack because all of the cards are dealt face-up, as opposed to the 1up, one-down method at higher tables. So the next instanceor the first time-you visit a casino, make a visit the black jack tables and aim for 21!
